DEEP-ROOTED HISTORY IN PHARMACY

Driven by our goal of making medicine accessible to all people across the world, we are committed to supporting healthier lives across more than 50 countries through the products we manufacture under our own brand. Our company entered the pharmaceutical industry in 1964, but our roots trace back to 1954, when we first began operating in pharmacy.

Today, we combine our scientific expertise, technological capabilities, and people-oriented approach to act not merely as a manufacturer, but as a healthcare leader that designs the future of healing. As a global power, we continue to expand our global footprint, guided by our 'Health For All, Access For All' approach and an investment strategy focused on international growth, world-class production, and global R&D frameworks.

MORE THAN 70 YEARS OF GLOBAL INNOVATION AND EXCELLENCE

As we mark more than seven decades in healthcare, we embrace a sustainability-centered business model that meets international standards. For us, a pharmaceutical is not just a formulation, but a combination of scientific research, advanced technology, and social responsibility. We bridge our deep-rooted experience with modern R&D and manufacturing capabilities to develop solutions for both current and future global health needs.

NOBEL TODAY: GLOBAL POWER AND IMPACT

We stand as a leading international pharmaceutical powerhouse, fully integrating active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) production, global R&D, and finished product manufacturing for both Chemical and Biotechnological Pharmaceuticals. Driving our global journey to the world, we are the only pharmaceutical company that consolidates all of these strategic processes under a single roof.

OUR R&D AND PRODUCTION CAMPUSES

We conduct our manufacturing and R&D operations under the umbrella of Nobel İlaç in Türkiye, Nobel AFF in Kazakhstan, and Nobel Pharmsanoat in Uzbekistan. We operate a total of 5 Production and R&D campuses across three countries, housing 11 manufacturing facilities and 6 R&D centers. While we carry out our chemical medicine production in a total indoor area of 157,000 square meters across three countries, we reach an annual production capacity of 250 million boxes of finished pharmaceuticals. In terms of raw materials, our annual production capacity stands at 437 tons.

Our production bases in Türkiye are situated in Düzce, Gebze, and Çerkezköy, while 4 out of our 6 R&D centers serve science. We are allocating 5% of our annual turnover to R&D activities. All of our pharmaceutical formulations, which constitute 95% of our product portfolio is the result of dedicated work carried out in our own R&D centers. Furthermore, through our company Ulkar Kimya, which carries out raw material manufacturing and R&D studies for the pharmaceutical industry, we hold the title of the company with the widest product portfolio in raw material production. Our future-shaping investments focused on biotechnology are strategically concentrated in Gebze. Gebze Martek, our first investment in this field, operates with a bioreactor production capacity of 2x1000L.

INTERNATIONAL GROWTH VISION

Following our global expansion strategy, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan serve as strategic manufacturing and export hubs. In 2001, we took our first global step by establishing Nobel Pharmsanoat in Uzbekistan, becoming the first player in the region to make a manufacturing investment abroad.

This pioneering step was followed in 2002 by the Nobel AFF investment in Kazakhstan. Nobel AFF set a regional quality benchmark by becoming the first pharmaceutical company in Kazakhstan to implement and receive GMP certification. Today, Nobel AFF not only meets the pharmaceutical demands of the country and neighboring regions but also expands its operations through strategic manufacturing agreements—particularly in biotechnological pharmaceuticals—with leading international pharmaceutical companies.

With our corporate companies and representative offices established across 24 countries, we possess an extensive international organizational network. We deliver our self-manufactured products to patients in over 50 countries, generating more than 40% of our total sales from international markets. Through this export power and global infrastructure, we proudly hold the title of a net exporter, generating a foreign trade surplus and contributing to sustainable economic growth in Türkiye.
